Felecity Joy Hoof
Ballet Director

Born and raised in New Zealand, Felecity Joy Hoof (nee Nairn) started taking Ballet lessons with the Draper Academy of Dance at the age of four.

In her final year of schooling she trained at the National Ballet School in New Zealand before moving to London. Her first professional engagement was with the Wiener Ballet, performing in over 150 Theatres in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium. Returning to London as a soloist she began working for the European Ballet Company touring England, Scotland and Wales.

During this time she auditioned and gained a contract with the renowned Vienna State Opera Ballet. Dancing in many of the great classics she was also chosen to dance at the world famous Vienna State Opera Ball in 2000.

Two years later she accepted a first soloist contract in Bremerhaven Germany where contracts later followed in Koblenz, Giessen, Dessau and Coburg.

In 2008 she was invited to teach Ballet for the German Community College in Coburg and six months later she opened up her own successful Ballet school.

During this time she also gained an Intermediate Peak Pilates Mat Certification.

Felecity moved to Sydney with her family in 2010 and opened Twinkle Toes Ballet School on the Northern Beaches. She has since been sharing her love of ballet and professional expertise with budding ballerinas of Newport and Avalon for over ten years. Her passion is to foster a life-long love of dance from an early age.

Lisa Gordeno

A.I.S.T.D (dip), A.R.A.D, L.I.D.T.A.

Lisa Gordeno trained as a dance teacher in England under the guidance of Dr Margret Gajewski, of the Roehampton Institute London.

After teaching for nine years at a theatre school, Lisa opened the Dance Education Centre in London and Surrey, running classes for all ages.

Emigrating from the UK to Australia in 2008, Lisa accepted a position at Bilgola Plateau Primary school running their early years dance programme, where she continues to teach today.

With years of professional experience behind her, Lisa was thrilled to be invited by Felecity to join the Twinkle Toes family. Since 2010 she has been an integral part of the school in both Newport and Avalon. Each week she inspires little ballerina’s with her artistic, magical and creative classes.
